Using The Level
Use The Level to explore a more even presentation of a vocal, instrument or bus. It offers two complementary directions: lifting quieter material and restraining louder material.
A starting point
Start with one process at a time so you can hear what it contributes. Listen for room sound or noise becoming more obvious as quiet detail rises, then balance the output.
