The annual reset removes old computer registrations without changing your purchase or licence key. An updated plug-in silently activates the current computer again. With an older plug-in version, simply enter your original key when the activation window appears.

Does my paid licence expire?
No. A paid Lydtrold licence is perpetual, not a subscription. You do not pay an annual renewal fee, and your original licence key remains valid.
How many computers can I activate?
Each paid licence includes three device activations. Reinstalling an operating system or replacing a computer may use another activation until the annual reset.
What happens once a year?
On the anniversary of the original purchase, the three device activation slots are cleared automatically. This renews the available device slots; it does not expire or replace your licence.
Will the plug-in stop working after the reset?
Current plug-in versions reactivate the computer automatically from the licence key already saved on that machine. Older versions may show the activation window once; enter the same original key to continue.
What if I reach the limit before the annual reset?
Contact Lydtrold with your order email, licence key and product name. We can help free an old activation when a computer has been replaced, lost or reformatted.
Do free plug-ins need activation?
No. Lydtrold products described as free and requiring no licence key have no device activation limit. A 14-day demo is separate from a paid perpetual licence.
