Using The Bass Amp

Turn a direct bass recording into an amp-style sound while retaining control of the clean DI contribution. Cabinet, microphone and room choices let you explore both focused and more spacious results.

A starting point

Choose an amp character first, then compare cabinet and microphone options. Blend the DI to retain the part of the original signal you need, and add room only as the arrangement allows.
