Use The Tape to explore gentle rounding on a mix bus or more audible saturation on bass, drums and keyboards. Tape formulation and recording speed offer different starting points for colour.
A starting point
Choose Clean, Classic or Hot tape and 15 or 30 IPS, then set calibration and input drive. Watch the VU meters and match the output level when comparing the processed sound with bypass.
