Using LT VU
Use LT VU to follow musical level movement while setting track or bus gain. VU metering provides a different view from the fast peak meters in your DAW.
A starting point
Choose a reference level for your workflow and watch the needle response on representative passages. Keep peak metering available as well; a VU reading alone does not show every transient peak.
