Free Lydtrold plugins: licences, formats and installation

What the Free Collection includes, how to claim it, and why free does not always mean licence-free.

The current Free Collection uses one personal licence from a free checkout. Older products explicitly marked as licence-free can still work without activation.

Check the current collection

The Free Collection page is the current list of included products and formats. Do not assume that every DSP edition is free because a Native edition is free. Eligible free DSP editions are included where explicitly listed.

The Ear Comp and The Ear EQ are available free in both Native and AAX DSP. DSP editions include the Native formats too. Choose the formats that your DAW and hardware support.

Claim once, then choose what to install

Complete the free checkout, keep your personal licence and download the public Lydtrold Installer. Use your purchase email to sync the collection and enter the key when requested.

You can select only the plug-ins you need. Already own a Complete Bundle? The included free products are available through your existing licence; you do not need to buy them again.

Understand the mailing-list choice

Claiming the Free Collection includes joining the Lydtrold mailing list for plugin news and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time and keep your collection licence.

Free and licence-free are not the same

Some earlier articles described free plug-ins as requiring no key. That does not describe the current Free Collection checkout: it supplies a personal licence. Products explicitly described as requiring no licence continue to work that way.

If you already claimed the collection, recover the existing order through Lemon Squeezy instead of creating another claim.
